Our Smart Baby: Favorite Books for Moms of Toddlers

Favorite Books for Moms of Toddlers

I love reading books. I've been looking for books focusing on toddlers specifically for moms of toddlers. It can be parenting, humor, how-to,etc.

So I am asking you dear blog readers for book suggestions.

What are some of your favorite books for moms of toddlers?

What books are you currently reading?

What do you recommend for a mom of a toddler?

We like the old favorites, such as Goodnight Moon and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, but right now Cordy's favorite book is That's Not My Tractor.

It's a touch and feel book (the mouse looks at each tractor and determines that each one isn't his - the funnel is too smooth, the seat too scratchy, etc.), and she simply adores it!

I've been terrible about reading books since my son became a toddler, but the one I am thinking of purchasing is, "The Happiest Toddler on the Block" by Harvey Carp. He also wrote, "The Happiest Baby on the Block" which is my all-time favorite mommy book. I got this as a gift when I was pregnant and read it cover to cover before my son was born. I was able to bypass a lot of the crying and sleeping issues most of my friends were struggling with thanks to this book. So, I'm hoping that the book on toddlers is just as helpful!!

My 14 month old son loves books with bright pictures. I have been reading to him since he was a 3 month old.
