Lunchables for Toddlers
I occassionally allow my toddler to have cheese pizza & nacho lunchables but I recently read up about how unhealthy lunchables really are and it was very surprising to me. Here is an article I just read about the 7 foods you should never feed to yourself or your family. Lunchables are on this list. Wow!
What I want to know is who buys lunchables? I know lunchables sell quite well so obviously alot of us are buying them. Do you let your toddler eat lunchables? What kind does your toddler eat? pizza? nachos? ham & cheese? other? Thoughts on this?

I buy them. Not really often but maybe 1 time a week. My daughter likes all of them. My son doesn't like the pizza ones and can't eat the nacho ones because the sauces are too spicy for his tummy. I think that everything done in moderation is ok. Now if you were feeding them to them every day, I don't think that would be good. Well, really, I don't see how it could be bad either. Sheesh. Good question because as long as kids are eating a well balanced meal for dinner then what is the big deal? Also, at times it is everything I can do to get my 4 yr old to eat anything so if it happens to be a lunchable, then at least he is eating.
It is not easy to find the right food for them. We don't but those items.
I would like to share with you what we feed our toddler. We feed her baby yogurt, fresh fruits and vegetables, oatmeal cereal. She loves apples, oranges, and avocados. She likes
steamed potatoes. She also lives stew fish.
We have avoided certain foods. We give her soda, juices, and meat. We give her chicken once in a blue moon.
Most foods that are quick and cheap are usually unhealthy for children and adults.
I hope that helps.
She loves the Outdoors.
How to find a park in your hood?
My son wants them everytime we go to the grocery store so we buy one. he eats them once a week. I need to read that article!
I buy about 4 per week and they are eaten as snacks. My two eat the cheese pizza ones and the nachos. However, I'm going to cut down on buying them. For a while, they loved homemade ones on pita bread or tortillas. I just need them to start eating whole wheat ones. I've already switched them to whole wheat bread and pasta and they have not noticed a difference.
I gave my son a lunchable for the first time yesterday. I personally love them and I figured he would eat at least the cheese and crackers (he's not a big meat fan and eats cheese all the time at home). To my surprise he only ate the crackers. Maybe he is smarter than me.
