My 3 year old son has a corn allergy. If your child has a Corn allergy then you already know that this allergy is very rare and so there are very few foods out there that doesn't have corn or corn syrup in them especially candy. I just came across the Yummy Earth Organic lollipops yesterday and I'm anxious to try them out. Well, I'm sure my 3 year old will be pretty excited to try them out too because it's candy. Has anyone else tried these corn-free lollipops? What do you think of them?

The end of Summer is drawing near as school starts back for many many kids and for some kids school has already started. So as Summer draws to a close how about doing some really fun activities with your kids before the back to school routine starts back up. Listed below are some great ideas to end summer with a bang!

End of Summer Activities: These are great for labor day too!

Camp out in your very own backyard
Have a movie night outside with a projector and old white sheet complete with popcorn & snacks
Arrange a slumber party for your kids
Go swimming at the pool one last time or have a pool party
Take your kids on a weekend trip to somewhere they've never been
Go to some local festivals
Let the kids wash your car
Set up some backyard games & have dollar store prizes
Have a BBQ and cook up some of your kids favorite foods. Let them help too!

Our beloved Sarge from Disney Cars was recalled recently as part of a larger recall from Mattel Toys. Green Army Sarge was recalled due to high amounts of lead paint. The Sarge Cars Jeep being recalled was sold between May and August 2007 and says made in China. There are some Sarge cars out there that are not included in this recall. If you are not sure if your child's Sarge Car has been recalled you can go to the Mattel website and answer some questions and they will tell you immediately whether your toy has been affected or not.

Below I have listed several resources that have already covered this recall to give you more information about the recall. I hope that you will take the time to read this information and go through your child's toys.

Furthermore, has anyone encountered any resistance in taking away any of these toys from their child? The Sarge character from Disney Cars is one of my 3 year old's favorite toys. Luckily, our version was not affected. Either way I'm very upset about all of these new recalls. What's next?
